STEWART, a resident of Elm Hall, was found dead in the woods some three miles north of that place, in the Town of Seville. MR. STEWART went to the woods to kill some game for a sick father, and not returning, some fears were entertained for his safety and a party went in search. When found, he was lying on the ground quite dead, and up- on examination it was found that he had been shot; the ball entering the left breast and coming out near the shoulder blade. His gun was standing near by, muzzle down, the breech leaning against a stump, the ramrod lying some four feet from the gun. Mr. George J. Sly, Esq., was notified, who summoned a jury and held an inquest, the verdict being that the deceased came to his death by the accidental discharge of his gun while in his own hands. ===============================================================================
