It was seen at Muskegon, Muir, Evart, Stanton, St. Louis and various other places, but Alma can say more than that of it. Whether it was attracted by the many brilliances here we can't say, but it came sure enough. It was seen about 8 o'clock in the evening, coming from a north easterly direction with considerable velocity. We did not see it but those who did say that it was about the size of a large foot ball, and very brilliant. It was in sight only a few seconds and then fell with a great crash upon the roof of WM. ROBERT'S house, on State st. The house wherein ye editor dwells is just cross the street and the way it shook for a few seconds led us to believe that someone had been fooling with dynamite. The crash was terrific and everyone in the town heard it distinctly. MRS. ROBERTS was alone at the time and was so stunned that she did not recover entirely for some time. A look around the premises did not reveal any traces of the noisy visitor, and no damage was done farther than startling some of the residents of that locality half out of their wits for a little while. ===============================================================================
