O. A. LOVELESS, died Sunday afternoon at Iron River at the home of MRS. FRANK SINGLER. The little one took the measles and it developed into diphtheria. MRS. LOVELESS grew alarmed about the child's condi- tion and left for Iron River last week where she could obtain expert medical care, only to learn that it had developed diphtheria several days previous. MRS. LOVELESS' son, MARVIN, motored to Iron River after the body Monday and burial was in the Waters- meet cemetery Monday morning. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to MRS. LOVELESS and her children. Three months ago MRS. LOVELESS' husband died of influenza. MRS. FRANK SINGLER of Iron River is visiting MRS. O. A. LOVELESS, and attended the funeral of her little daughter, JEAN RAY. Transcriber's Note: The same newspaper also notes that just the Friday before her home had caught fire from sparks of a fire that destroyed a large storage building nearby.
