              GEORGE GERCHECK died Monday morning at the
            home of his parents in this city at the age 
            of 16 years. The cause of his death was infla-
            mation of the limb, the result of being kicked
            by a horse about a year ago. He was taken to
            his bed less than a week and died in extreme
            agony, being delirious several hours before
            death came to relieve his sufferings. The
            funeral was held wednesday.
