                     Loaded with stone from Kelley's Island for Toledo
                   when she foundered off West Sister Island. Only two
                   men on board; Capt. Parker and a seaman, Joseph
                   Guyett. After holding to the masthead for several
                   hours the captain, benumbed by the cold, could not
                   hold on any longer and drowned. Guyett was picked
                   up by the schooner ANDOVER of Oswego and was landed
                   at Kelley's Island.
