Described as "one of the most palatial motor yachts to ply Lake Michigan," in Wisconsin's nomination of the wreck to the National Register of Historic Places. The ROSINCO was headed back to Chicago from Milwaukee when it struck what was described as "floating timber" by the crew and went to the bottom in about 10 minutes. The crew escaped in the yawl and were picked up by the Coast Guard.
