Nov. 19, 1879 - Damaged spars in a gale on Lake Michigan. Sept. 9, 1888 - Ran into the north pier at Milwaukee with a strong norteast wind blowing. Apr. 19, 1890 - Ran into the propeller LACKAWANNA in the Chicago River and tore out about 60 feet of her starboard railing, her main shroud, and lost her own jibboom and head gear. From at least 1897 to 1900 "O. F. Scheneman", of Chicago, is shown as the master of the schooner Jesse Phillips.
