Copeland Davis TONNAGE: 75 gt DIMENSIONS: 78 x 21 x 7 CASUALTIES: 4 (all) SURVIVORS: 0 En route from Pentwater, MI., to Chicago heavily loaded with wooden shingles when she capsized in a what was called the worst storm of the season. All four aboard were from Pentwater. Her capsized wreck was located by the Muskegon tug GETTY some days later but broke free and sank during the attempt to tow her into port. This wasn't the first wreck of this type in her history. In October, 1855, the KITTY GRANT capsized off Racine while on her way from Muskegon to Milwaukee with a loss of 4 lives.
