MASTER: Capt. John Laurie TONNAGE: 32.73 gt DIMENSIONS: 54.2 x 13.8 x 7.1 CASUALTIES: 1 of 5, fireman Martin Boswell Was approaching the steamer L. WATSON STEPHENSON for a tow when the tug inadvertantly run across the bow of the steamer, overturned and went to the bottom within 3 minutes. Martin Boswell was below deck when the collinsion occurred and did not escape. The others were picked up by the steamer. A body, supposed to be that of John Evenson, came ashore near Foscora (today Stony Creek) Wis.
