Lent at Conneaut, OH - 1848 OWNER: Capt. H. Howard Thomas Dyer in 1851 Sold to L. S. Ellsworth & Co., 1852 for $7,500 MASTER: Capt. Hall TONNAGE: 276 t LENGTH: 111 ft BEAM: 26 ft DEPTH: 9', 10" CASUALTIES: - SURVIVORS: May 12, 1851 - Dismasted on Lake Michigan and refitted as a brig. November 4, 1851 - run into by the propeller Delaware and towed by the Delaware to Beaver Island. Loss $3,800. September, 1853 - Lost foreyard in a gale on Lake Michigan, off Milwaukee. October, 1855 - Ashore in Saginaw Bay - got off. September 26, 1860 - Left Chicago bound for Buffalo with 11,300 bushels of corn. Sprung her foremast near the Manitou Islands and began to leak. Was attempting to run to Two Rivers but went on the rocks near Bailey's Harbor.
