         MICHAEL JOHN ROOD, four weeks, son of Rev. and
       Mrs. SIDNEY S. ROOD, Gladwin, Mich., died Wednes-
       day in Gladwin, it was learned here today.
         Besides his parents, the child is survived by
       his grandmother, Mrs. FLORENCE ROOD, Port Huron;
       and several aunts and uncles.
         Mr. ROOD was assistant pastor of Grace Episco-
       pal church before taking a pastorate in Gladwin.
       Burial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday
       in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair, after funeral
       services at 10 a.m. in Gladwin.
