Thursday, July 14, 1887

         DAVID TURRELL, aged 68 years, proprietor of the
       Occidental house in Flint, died on the 6th inst.
       He was among the earliest settlers of Genesee
       county, and had for many years been in the front
       ranks of the hotel men of the state.
