         JESSIE NEWTON, only child of Hon. WM. NEWTON,
       of Flint, died of congestive fever on the evening
       of Thursday, the 11th inst. She was eleven years
       of age, and had been ill but a short time when
       she died. In his sudden and severe affliction
       Mr. NEWTON has the sympathies of the whole com-
       munity in which he resides.
