         ALMON EGGLESTON, a well-known resident of Flint,
       died of cancer of the face on Wednesday evening,
       after a lingering illness. The funeral will be 
       held at 10:30 o'clock Friday morning and will be
       attended by Gov. Crapo Post, G. A. R., in a body.
