A physician was immediately summoned and chloroform administered, from the effects of which he soon sank into a lethargic slumber, never to be aroused, and died the same day. This was MR. LAMPSON'S last son, of a family of three or four. The others were also killed accidentally. (Transcriber's Note: The 1870 Census Mortality Schedule states that he died in May.) ===============================================================================
