J. BALDWIN and their son GEORGE, all of whom were killed in the Pere Marquette wreck Saturday night, arrived in the little village on the evening train from Grand Rapids. Nearly the entire village turned out to meet the train and among the large crowd which thronged the platform of the station were a number of relatives and friends of the family. The aged parents of Mr. and Mrs. BALDWIN accompanied the remains from Grand Rapids, and their grief was pitiful to behold. BALDWIN was section foreman at Mulliken and had many friends in the village. [Transcriber's Note: Per the 1900 Federal Census, ED 77, Roxand Twp., Sheet 13A, the BALDWIN family was: Baldwin, Leonard, age 32 " , Anna (wife), age 34 " , Georgie, (son), age 6 ===============================================================================
