The Iron Mountain Tribune-Gazette says: THOMAS NICHOLLS, a resident of Iron Mountain for the past thirty years, passed away at the family home, Blaine street, Chapin location, at 11 o'clock this morning, the final illness appear- ing a month ago. MR. NICHOLLS was conscious to the last, and when the final summons came was surrounded by his loved ones. MR. NICHOLLS was aged 54 years the 1st of November last. He was born in Cornwall, England, and came to the United States in 1875, when he was 19 years of age. He first located in New York state, and then removed to Houghton, in the copper country, then to Iron Mountain in 1883, making this his home continuously ever since. He was united in marriage to MISS MELIA SAMPSON, who together with the following children survive him: MRS. WILLIAM ROWE, MRS. JOSEPH POLKINGHORNE, MRS. SAMUEL DANIELS, EMILY and THOMAS NICHOLLS, all of Iron Mountain, and the following sisters and brother: MRS. DANIEL COLLINS, MRS. JAMES POLLARD, MRS. THOMAS HOOPER, Iron Mountain, and RICHARD NICHOLLS of Atlan- tic Mine, copper country. He was a member of the Sons of St. George and also of the Fidelity Accident Insurance Co. The Sons of St. George will be in charge of the funeral which is thought will be held Sunday. ==========================================================================
