In the death of LEVI RIVERS, aged 105 years, of Cook's Mills, the State of Michigan has lost its oldest citizen. His death occurred at Garden while the old man was there on a visit a few days ago. LEVI RIVERS was one of the early settlers of the upper peninsula. He came to the region more than sixty years ago, locating at what is now the village of Masonville, when there were only three or four small settlements in the upper country. He was born in Canada. Eight children survive him, and he leaves many grandchildren and great grandchildren. ===============================================================================
