For several years he had been in poor health and was at times a great sufferer; but with rare patience he endured all to the end. During the last days of his life he was loved and cared for by his daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. ALBERT LAKER. MR. WILLIAMS was born at Great Barrington, Mass., Nov. 25th, 1814. When seven years of age he came with his parents to N.Y. State, where he lived until he came to Michigan 43 years ago. When a young man he accepted Christ as his Saviour and Master. On coming to Homer he united by letter with the Presbyterian church. He was a quiet and un- assuming Christian gentleman; earnest in his faith and bright in his hope. The highest esteem was accorded him by all who knew him. Two sons and a daughter survive him. ERASTUS, who resides at Alagan, WILLIARD whose home is in Butler, and MRS. ALBERT LAKER. The funeral service was conducted at his late home by his pastor, Rev. H. E. Davis, after which, the body was laid away in our village cemetery by the side of that of his wife who preceeded him by 23 years to the heavenly land. ===============================================================================
