         Train Kills Marshall Man
          On Yule Journey

         Marshall, Mich. - Dec. 26 - GEORGE COOLEY,
       62, widower, was killed instantly by a freight
       train while going to the home of his brother,
       ALVIN COOLEY, along the Moscow division of the
       Michigan Central track for Christmas dinner.
       The accident occurred in the Marshal yards.
       Twenty-nine cars passed over his body. Deaf-
       ness prevented COOLEY from hearing a warning
       shouted by Conductor W. F. Walker. Besides a
       brother, two sons survive. He resided with
       his son WILLIAM.
