         The Battle Creek Journal says that Mr. WILLIAM BEVIER,
       of Lewy (sic) township, Calhoun county, was severely and
       probably fatally injured on Monday, by the tumbling rod
       of a threshing machine, in which his clothing became en-
       tangled.

       threshing machine have been already mentioned, died on
       the 15th.
