              A young lady who was bathing in the St. Joseph
            river, near ROBERT SPINK'S, last evening, was saved
            from drowning by the heroic efforts of ROBT. WATSON,
            of Benton Harbor, who lost his life however in the
            effort. His body was recovered soon after he was
            drowned and an attempt made to resuscitate the young
            man but without success.
