He leaves a son and daughter; also a stepson and stepdaughter. His funeral will occur today from St. Peter's Evan- gelical Church. MORLEY FOLLETT'S 4 months old baby died Thurs- day of cholera infantum. The funeral was held yesterday from the home of the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. JAS. BRADFORD. Rev. Jas. Hamilton officiated. HENRY COATS died Monday, aged 19. The young man worked for Slater & Harrold, draymen, and his death was the result of exposure and not taking proper care of himself afterwards. Death has claimed another old and esteemed resident of our city in the person of MRS. JOHN KING, who, after much suffering, breathed her last at her home on Napier avenue, Saturday night. Deceased was born at Kirkwell, Orkney Island, Scotland, in May, 1825, and was married to CAPT. JOHN KING at Edinburgh about forty years ago. A year or so before he had come to this section and after their marriage they came direct to St. Joseph and this has ever since been their home. CAPT. KING and a son went down with the schooner Industry off South Haven in 1882, and another son was killed under a house. Five children survive. MRS. KING was an old member of the Congregational denomination with which she met in the early days here in the old building now used as a voting place for the Second Ward. Her funeral was held Monday from her late home. Rev. Mr. McRoberts con- ducting it. All who knew this kindly lady will miss her.
