GILSON OSGOOD, an esteemed widow lady, mother of Messrs. M. & M. D. OSGOOD, died after a long illness at her home on Pipestone street today about half-past eleven o'clock, aged about 70 years. MRS. OSGOOD came with her family to Berrien county about the year 1840 and they sub- sequently settled near Coloma, for many years keeping a hotel in that village. She had been in ill health for a long time, with ailments incident to old age. The deceased leaves seven children - MARCUS and M. D. OSGOOD, of Benton Harbor; MR. E. P. OSGOOD, now in Color- ado; MR. JAS. O. OSGOOD and MRS. CHARLES LARM, of Chicago; MRS. SHERMAN VINCENT, of Coloma, and MRS. A. I. BRUSH, of Detroit. - Palladium, 21st.
