THEO J. DePUY From a late number of the Los Angeles, Cal., Tribune, received by MR. WM. RICABY, The Herald is able to give brief mention of the death by poison, administered by her own hand, of MRS. SARA R., wife of JUDGE THEO. J. DePUY, of Los Angeles, but formerly for several years a resident of St. Joseph. The cause of the sad affair is said to be despondency over the drinking habits of her husband and the news of the recent death of her father, at Muskegon. MRS. DePUY was a lady much esteem- ed by all who knew her and her sad fate will cause deep sorrow in her large circle of friends. She leaves a sister in Grand Rapids and one in Muskegon, and MRS. W. R. MORRISON, of Milwaukee, is a sister-in-law of deceased. Mr. and Mrs. DePUY went from St. Joseph to California in 1880. Their only daughter died several years before they left here and her remains rest in the St. Joseph cemetery. =========================================================================== If you've reached this file through a SEARCH, you can access more of our growing collection of FREE online information by going to the following URL: http://www.us-data.org/ ===========================================================================
