         Died -
         
         DR. JABEZ BARRON, one of our oldest, most worthy and
       useful citizens, died on Wednesday night, Jan. 18th,
       aged 68 years.
         The funeral took place on Saturday afternoon from his
       late residence.
         The remaining of his son, HUBERT, who recently died in
       the South, were interred at the same time.
       
         Jan. 17th, at his late residence in this City, TIMOTHY
       IVES, aged 63 years.
       
         At Niles, on the evening of 23rd inst., EDWIN R.
       BROOKFIELD, Esq., an old resident of this County -
       His funeral will be attended at the Methodist Church,
       this day (Wednesday) at 1 o'clock P.M.
