In St. Joseph, on Monday evening the 16th instant, at the house of the bride's father, by the Rev. Edward Anderson, Mr. AUGUSTUS L. POTTER to Miss MARY ELLEN, eldest daughter of ASA E. PERKINS, Edq. At eight o'clock a large assembly, comprising the elite of our place, met to witness the nuptuals, it being neccessary that the ceremonies should take place at an early hour, in order that the bridal party could take the evening boat to Chicago, from whence they go east on a wedding tour. The affair was imposing and beautiful. The best wishes of our entire community accompany them. May their pathway in life ever bloom with the flowers of joy, and may happiness, pure and unalloyed, go with them. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
