              Marshal MERGANTHALER on Saturday arrested AUGUST
            SCHLOTT, on the beach, for stealing some valuable
            fishing tackle from the Eau Claire fishing party
            who were here fishing a few days ago. SCHLOTT was
            brought before Esquire BREWER, plead guilty and
            was assessed $22, which sum he paid. The stolen
            property the Marshal found on SCHLOTT'S premises,
            and it was returned to its rightful owner.
