              For stealing fruit, on complaint of J. W. HAUSER,
            MRS. E. BEAM was brought before JUSTICE BREWER on 
            Wednesday and convicted and fined $10, in default
            of which she was taken to the county jail by the
            village Marshal to serve a term of twenty days.
            This will rid the south part of town, for a time
            at least, of a suspicious character.
