         Hastings, Mich., July 6. - Special Telegram
         - Fourth of July, during the celebration at
       Coat's Grove, a small place several miles from
       here, an anvil exploded. A ragged piece  three
       inches long penetrated ALBERT SPRAGUE'S body.
       The injured man died this morning. He was 33 
       years of age and leaves a wife and two children.
