After he and the foreman had completed some repairs on a wool-picking machine, they turned on the power which operates the machine. Seeing a wrench lying on the feed apron near the rollers, TOWNSEND instinctively grabbed for the tool. His hand was caught in the feed rolls and ground to pieces before his companion could stop the machine. ===============================================================================
