Pub. 1949 LINDSEY CEMETERY, PRAIRIEVILLE TWP., BARRY CO., MICHIGAN The first death in Prairieville township was that of MRS. ELI WAIT on Nov. 1, 1836. She was buried on the east end of her husband's farm on Section 6, which has continued to be the family burying ground. The farm is now owned by their grandson, ELI LINDSEY, whose parents and sisters are also buried here. It is about 3 miles west of Prairieville on the Pine Lake road, across the road to the east from a school house. It is in the woods and is reached by a lane. Wait, Irene wife of Eli d.
