         SYLVESTER WALDBY, a young man who resided at Deep
       River, Arenac county, was drowned in a mill pond at
       that place the other morning while washing sheep. He
       fell off a log and could not get out before he was
       drowned. He was unmarried and a bright and enter-
       prising young man and well known.
