Mancelona, Mich., November 30 - Willing hands and hard work succeeded in rescuing all that was left of LARNELL CHEESHIRE, who was buried in the well on W. S. MESICK'S farm Thanksgiving day. His body was rescued late Saturday night, as the old well had nearly all caved in. A new one had to be dug and newly curbed. When found CHEESHIRE was in a standing position, his arms extended upward. It is said by the doctor and those that saw the condition in which he was found that death came soon after the heavy weight of curb- ing and dirt came in upon him. No blame is attached to anyone, for all knew it was an old well, and CHEESHIRE said before entering it that it was dangerous. He leaaves a widow and three small children in destitute circumstances. ===============================================================================
