         The Oval Wood Dish Company's Factory
           Destroyed by Fire
           
         Mancelona, December 27, - Our little town suffered
       a severe loss last night in the destruction by fire
       of the Oval Wood Dish Co. The fire originated in the
       hot-box, and the building was entirely destroyed. The
       loss will amount to about $50,000, partly insured.
       Over 250 hands are thrown out of employment, which is
       pretty hard at this season of the year. Citizens, how-
       ever, will subscribe liberally as an inducement to the
       company to rebuild.
