The Alpena Weekly Argus
January 24, 1877

           Just as we are going to press we are informed
         that JOHN LOUDEN, of the township of Long Rapids,
         and one of the oldest residents of this county,
         died at his residence on Monday evening. He leaves
         a wife and a large family of children.
