The Alpena Weekly Argus
October 20, 1880 


           We regret to be compelled to chronicle
         the death of MRS. F. S. GOODRICH, of this
         city, which occurred at the Health Insti-
         tute at Battle Creek, on Wednesday after-
         noon of last week. MRS. GOODRICH had been
         a long sufferer, and hopes of her recovery
         were some time since abandoned. She leaves
         a large circle of friends in this city to
         mourn her loss, and who deeply sympathize
         with the bereaved husband. The remains were
         taken to her former home, West Troy, N.Y.,
         for interment.
