August 5, 1887

         MR. JOHN ENGLES, an old resident of this township, aged
       84 years, died Saturday morning at the residence of his
       son CORNELIUS, west of town. The funeral occurred Sunday
       morning from the Baptist church. MR. ENGLES had been an
       invalid for some time.
