COLEMAN WILCOX, baggage master at the Bangor & Aroostook station place, died at his home at Mars Hill Thursday afternoon after a short illness of a week. MR. WILCOX a few days ago strained himself lifting a heavy trunk which greatly aggravated a case of appendi- citis. Drs. Boone and McNamara operated upon him and for a few days the appeared to be gaining until Wednes- day afternoon when he began to fail, passing away Thurs- day. MR. WILCOX was a young man of about 23 years and was very much liked by his associates who will greatly miss him. This is an extremely sad case as MR. WILCOX was to have been married Christmas eve. His parents have the most sincere sympathy of the community. Funeral Friday afternoon. ===========================================================================
