The Whig learns that the Bridgewater hotel was burned Wednesday morning. TIMOTHY HURLEY was the occu- pant. Twenty-one horses were burned to death, five of which belonged to Brown & Forbes' of Presque Isle, two to the society of Shakers, and eight to travellers stopping at the hotel. Two cows, four hogs, twelve tons of hay and a large quantity of grain owned by MR. HURLEY, were also consumed, as well as all the harnesses, &c., belonging to the horses in the stable. Loss estimated at $5000. ===========================================================================
