         AMITY, ME.
         
         Aroostook Co., is bounded E. by New Brunswick,
       and lies about 100 miles N.E. from Bangor. In-
       corporated 1836. This town has fine soil for
       wheat, and when the timber is removed it will
       doubtless be very productive.
