LOSS OF LIFE OVER ESTIMATED!! 115 KILLED! 165 WOUNDED!! LIST OF KILLED AND WOUNDED. Additional Particulars: The following despatch is from D. Sanders, Jr., Mayor of Lawrence: Lawrence, Jan. 11. - Terrible as our calamity is, I think it much over-estimated in the number of killed. As near as I have been able to ascertain this morning, I find dead, and missing, which is equivilent to dead, 115 and 165 wounded. Some of the wounded will die but very much the largest number will survive. A portion of operatives had left for supper previous to the falling of the building - about 600 remaining. The building was five stories high, 280 feet long, by 70 feet wide, with an L 45 feet square on the west side. It ran 27,000 spindles, and 960 operatives were employed. The following is a list killed so far as could be recognized this morning. WATSON, JOANNA HURLEY - all of Lawrence Among the wounded are MARGARET ORR, fatally; BRIDGET BRADLEY, fatally, KATE HARGBEE, E. A. GERMAN, thigh fractured, GEORGE CAREALFER, HENRY CULI, fatally, MARGARET HAMILTON, fatally, D. F. HARRON, CELIA STEVENS, MARY and MARGARET SLANEN, MARY KENNEDY, HANNAH KENNESEY, ELLEN MAHETNEY, MARY YORK, ROBERT HAYS, IRA D. LOCKE, MARY A. COLEMAN, SARAH DOYLE Among the physicians present is Dr. Isaac Farrar, of Brooklyn, N.Y. ELIZA ORR has since died and others are dying. The fire is subdued.
