HATTIE MCELROY of this city, died at his home in Logan Township, on Sunday, January 20th, 1895 of dropsy, and was buried in Elmwood cemetery, Beloit, on the same evening, as it was impossible to keep the remains longer. The deceased was born Aug 10th, 1821, and removed to Kansas many years ago, having been a resident of Logan Township over sixteen years. He leaves a son, HENRY, and two daughters, the one above mentioned and another who resides in New York. MR. WITHERELL was a highly respected citizen and a neighbor who was generally beloved. He had been ailing for a year before his demise. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Beloit Western Call Friday, Jan. 25, 1895 OBITUARY-- NELSON WITHERELL, aged 73 years, who lived near Tanquary's mill, died Saturday night, Jan. 19 of dropsy.
