Mr. STERNER, whose home was in Chal- mers, passed away at the Home hospital here Thursday. The services at the funeral were conducted by Rev. D. S. Perry, assisted by Revs. C. R. Brown and Rev. G. E. Bagby and Evangelist Newlin. The pallbearers were: Harry Shigley, William Burns, Leo Chamberlain, Andrew Raub, Beryl Shell and Wilber Stephans. The honorary pallbearers were the comrades of the deceased in the world war. The flower bearers were Misses Pearl Younger, Sadie Shigley, Irene Stephans, Anna Raub, Hazel Jackson and Mrs. William Moore. There was a wreath of beautiful floral offerings. Adlai Wolf, Joseph Minch, William Hagen and J. E. Heaton sang "Nearer My God To Thee," "Beau- tiful Isle of Somewhere" and "Some Day We'll Understand," Mrs. Carl Tatem acting as pianist. Interment was made in the K. of P. cemetery. ==========================================================================
