Michael J. Rost Sr., 47, of Terre Haute died at 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31,
2005, in his residence.

He retired from the Air Force as a master Sergeant, after 20 years of
service.

He was born April 11, 1958 in Vigo County to Gerald William Rost and Edna
Reeves Rost.

Survivors include his wife of two years, Claudia M. Rost; his mother, Edna
J. Rost; two sons, Michael Rost Jr. and Brandon Rost; two stepsons, Stephen
Richardson and George Richardson; one daughter, Lindsay Rost; one
stepdaughter, Viola Carlyle; three sisters, Carol S. Latham and her husband
Jack, Kathryn M. Moreau and her husband Matt and Tammy L. Stewart and her
husband Corey; four grandchildren; his grandmother, Esther Rost; and
several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, and
one brother, Jerry William Rost.

He was a member of American Legion Post 328.

Services are 1 p.m. Saturday in Mattox-Fox Riley Chapel with the Rev.
Thomas Manbeck officiating.  Burial is in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
