Robert M. Coleman, Sr., 53, of Terre Haute and formerly of Greencastle died
Tuesday evening, Jan. 12, 1993 in Heritage House Convalescent Center at
Greencastle.  He was a retired postal clerk.

He was born May 11, 1939 to Russell J. Coleman and Jessie Pearl Morris
Coleman.

Survivors include his fiancee, Donna Ellington of Terre Haute; two sons,
Robert Morris of Terre Haute and William Russell of Colorado; two
daughters, Lora Marie Clark and Michelle Mary Coleman of Brazil; one
sister, Sharon K. Lane of Terre Haute; seven grandchildren and several
nieces and nephews.

He was a graduate of Greencastle High School and an Army veteran of the
Korean War.  He was a member of Terre Haute Eagles Lodge.

Services are 2 p.m. Saturday in Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home at
Greencastle, with the Rev. Paul Bowen officiating.  Burial is in Forest
Hill Cemetery, with full military honors.  Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. today.
