She was the widow of JOHANUS PETERSON and had lived in Tippecanoe county the greater part of her life. Mrs. PETERSON was the daughter of REUBEN and LAVINA PAUL and was born in Lehigh, Pa., March 16, 1839. She was married to Mr. PETER- SON on March 14, 1872, her husband having died five years ago. Mrs. PETERSON is survived by three children, viz: CHILDS PETERSON, FRANK PETERSON and Mrs. SARAH DUNK, all of Battle Ground. She was a member of the Presbyterian church at Dayton and was a consistent Christian. Short funeral servicese will be conducted at the house Mon- day morning at 9:30 o'clock and final services will be conducted in the Presbyterian church at Dayton at 11 o'clock. Interment will be in the Dayton cemetery. ==========================================================================
