                   GEEORGE HIRSCH, formerly of Lafayette, died
                 at 7:30 o'clock Wednesday night at the home of
                 his daughters, Mrs. SAM KAHN and Mrs. HENRY
                 KAHN, in Chicago, of a complication of diseases.
                 He was eighty-three years old. The body has been
                 forwarded to Lafayette and the burial will take
                 place Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Jewish
                 cemetery. Rabbi Sam Harris will conduct short
                 services at the cemetery.
