                   MRS. ELIZABETH HAUSER, widow of JOHN HAUSER,
                 died early Thursday morning at her home, 1024
                 Joseph street, of a complication of diseases.
                 She was past 80 years old and was born in Ohio,
                 but had been a resident of Lafayette for the
                 past fifty-five years. Whe was a member of the
                 Trinity M. E. church and was held in high re-
                 gard by all who knew her. She is survived by
                 two daughters, Misses ANNA and SALLIE HAUSER.
