                   The death of DAVID DURELL BROWN, of 211 Sheets
                 street, West Lafayette, occurred Tuesday after-
                 noon at 3 o'clock at St. Elizabeth hospital of 
                 a complication of diseases. Mr. BROWN was a har-
                 ness maker by trade and worked in Lafayette for
                 many years. He is survived by a widow and one
                 daughter, PEARL BROWN. He was a member of the
                 West Side Baptist church and was a highly re-
                 spected citizen.

                   The funeral of DAVID D. BROWN will be conducted
                 from the family home at 311 Sheets street, West
                 Lafayette, Friday morning at 10 o'clock. Rev.
                 H. O. Enwell officiating. Burial will be made at
                 Springvale cemetery.
